• we hold three Kennel Club licensed shows throughout the year - Open Shows in Spring and Autumn and a Championship Show in Summer open to Kennel Club registered Staffords.  Although our classes are limited to those dogs entered we do welcome spectators along

• we hold a Christmas party open to all with fun and games, prizes and Christmas food!

• we run seminars based on varying subjects relating to the breed as well as for up and coming judges, with reduced rates for Club members

• we organise clincial and DNA Health Testing Sessions

• we have an Information Stand which attends various dog related events around the East Anglian region and beyond, chatting to people about Staffords, bringing along our dogs to meet the public

• we have a Stafford Display Team that has performed in the Main Arena at Crufts at the NEC, Birmingham and Discover Dogs as well as at events nationwide including DogFest,  Just Dogs Live, All About Dogs and BBC Countryfile Live.  Our dogs show off their agility and obedience skills as well as performing tricks to show their versatility and counter negative publicity that the breed can sometimes attract

• we hold online 'zoom' discussions for our Club members with varying topics

• we have three annual draws for Club members which offer the chance to win a £50 voucher to be spent with any of our Club sponsors.  One draw is for the EASBTC member that has exhibited at all three shows during the year, one draw is for all EASBTC members with continuous memberships over 10 years, and one draw for ALL EASBTC members. We have also recently introduced three extra draws which will be made at each of our shows to the EASBTC member that is entered at that show

• we award our Annual Trophies for the Club member whose dog has amassed the most points at our shows each year

At the Annual General Meeting the Officers are elected for a yearly term and Committee are elected for a three year term. To serve on Committee you must have been a paid up member of the Club for one year and as an Officer for a period of two years . We are fortunate in that we generally have little turnover in Committee members which means we maintain the stability of the Club

Fee: £8 per year (£15 per year for overseas members) This fee covers all members of the same family or, where a dog is owned in partnership, both/all partners. In order to have the right to vote at Meetings of the Club or to claim trophies at shows, all members of the family/partnership must be included on this form, must sign the form and their names must be shown in the membership list

Our members are sent copies of our magazine in summer and winter, are offered reduced entry fees for our shows and concessions to any seminars or health testing sessions we run

Memberships can be via Paypal or BACs 

Applications must be supported by two people who are members of the Club however if you do not know anyone who is a member you will be asked to give some information about your experience/interest in the breed for consideration

Please note that when applying for or renewing membership you are agreeing to abide by the Club’s Rules and Regulations and also by the Code of Ethics. The EASBTC encourages all its members to act responsibly towards the breed and will investigate any instance of members not adhering to the Rules and Regulations or the Code of Ethics. This may result in withdrawal of membership
